Creamy Chicken and Spinach Casserole
A creamy Parmesan chicken and spinach casserole is finished with a crunchy, buttery breadcrumb topping.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 F and butter a 2-quart baking dish.

Drain cooked spinach well and spread it in the bottom of the prepared dish.

In a saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium-low heat. Stir in flour and seasoned salt; cook for 2 minutes.

Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cream until melted. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in chicken.

Pour the chicken and sauce mixture over the spinach layer in the baking dish.

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter, then toss with breadcrumbs and spread over the casserole.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the topping is browned, broiling for a minute or two if desired.
