Creamy Bourbon Chicken With Mushrooms Recipe

Preheat the oven to 200 F.

Season chicken with salt, pepper, and a light dusting of flour.

In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons butter and olive oil over low heat. Sauté chicken and green onions, turning frequently, for 15-20 minutes until golden and tender.

If using bone-in chicken, sear skin-side down first and cook an additional 10-15 minutes until juices run clear.

During cooking, baste chicken frequently with small amounts of bourbon until evaporated.

Transfer cooked chicken to a warm platter and keep warm in the oven.

Add sliced mushrooms and remaining butter to the skillet; sauté for 3 minutes.
