Creamed Spinach With Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1. Squeeze thawed spinach thoroughly to remove excess moisture; set aside.

  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.

  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. Whisk in flour; cook for 1-2 minutes.

  5. Gradually add milk, whisking continuously until the sauce thickens.

  6. Stir in the squeezed spinach, Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.

  7. Continue cooking over low heat, stirring for 5 minutes, until the spinach is tender and hot.

  8. Serve hot.
