Cream Cheese Peanut Butter Balls Recipe

Instructions

Prepare a foil-lined baking sheet.

In an electric mixer, combine softened cream cheese, 4 cups confectioners' sugar, peanut butter, vanilla, and salt.

Mix on medium speed until homogenous; if sticky, incorporate an additional 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar until stiff but pliable.

Scoop and form the mixture into 1-inch balls, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Chill the balls in the freezer for 20 minutes or the refrigerator for 1 hour until set.

Melt the chocolate candy coating in 30-second intervals in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.

Dip each chilled peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, returning it to the baking sheet.

Immediately top each wet chocolate-coated ball with a peanut half.

Refrigerate the finished candies to set the chocolate, then store them in an airtight container for up to one week.
