Cream Cheese Brownies Recipe

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 F and line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Melt butter and chocolate in a large bowl until smooth; remove from heat.

Stir in cocoa powder and sugar until smooth, then cool for 2 minutes.

Whisk in eggs, vanilla, and salt.

Fold in flour in 3 increments until just combined, avoiding overmixing.

Reserve 1/3 cup of brownie batter. Pour remaining batter into the prepared pan.

For the filling, beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.

Stir in egg and vanilla.

Dollop cheesecake filling over brownie batter in the pan, then add reserved brownie batter on top.

Swirl batters with a toothpick or knife to create a marbled design.

Bake for about 35 minutes, or until the center is mostly set and a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side yields a few fudgy crumbs.
