Cranberry Sauce Recipe

An easy cranberry sauce, perfect for the Thanksgiving table, can be prepared in under 30 minutes using fresh or frozen whole cranberries.

Instructions

  1. Rinse and sort cranberries, discarding any damaged ones.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine orange juice and 1/2 cup sugar; simmer over medium-low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.

  3. Add cranberries, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer. Stir occasionally for about 20 minutes until berries pop.

  4. Remove from heat and sweeten with remaining sugar to taste. Serve warm, or cool and chill for a thicker sauce.
