Instructions

  1. Prepare a boiling water canner and sterilize half-pint jars.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  3. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 90 minutes to 2 hours, stirring frequently, until the jam is smooth.

  4. Remove from heat, then skim off any foam from the surface.

  5. Ladle the hot jam into the sterilized jars, ensuring 1/4-inch headspace.

  6. Wipe jar rims, seal, and process in the boiling water canner for 10-11 minutes.

  7. Cool jars on a clean towel and verify seals before storing in a cool, dark place.
