Coquito (Puerto Rican Coconut Eggnog)

Instructions

  1. Combine 15 ounces cream of coconut, 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk, 12 ounces evaporated milk, 12 ounces white rum, 1 teaspoon coconut or vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves, and 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg in a blender.

  2. Process the ingredients until thoroughly mixed.

  3. Pour the mixture into a glass pitcher or bottle, or cover the blender bowl, and refrigerate.

  4. Chill for at least one hour until very cold before serving.

  5. Shake well, then pour into small glasses.

  6. Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon, or a cinnamon stick, if desired.
