Instructions

  1. Heat milk until hot, then cool to lukewarm.

  2. Stir yeast into lukewarm milk and let sit 5 minutes until frothy.

  3. Combine milk mixture, sugar, butter, and salt in a stand mixer; mix with a paddle attachment.

  4. Slowly add beaten eggs.

  5. Change to a dough hook, gradually add flour, and knead until smooth and a soft ball forms.

  6. Cover dough and let rise in a warm place for one hour, until doubled.

  7. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

  8. After rising, knead dough, then roll on a floured surface into a 16x12-inch, 1/4-inch thick rectangle.

  9. Spread softened butter over dough, then sprinkle evenly with the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.

  10. Roll dough into a cylinder, pinch the seam, and cut into 1 1/2-inch slices.

  11. Place slices in the prepared pan, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.

  12. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  13. Bake rolls for 25-35 minutes until golden brown and cooked.

  14. While baking, prepare icing by beating its ingredients.

  15. Once rolls cool slightly, slather with icing and serve.
