Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Roll dough into a 12x16 inch rectangle on a floured surface.

  3. Brush the dough with melted butter.

  4. In a small bowl, combine sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon.

  5. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the butter, maintaining a 1/2-inch border.

  6. Distribute crushed chocolate sandwich cookies evenly over the dough.

  7. Roll the dough from the long side into a jelly roll; cut into 8 equal pieces.

  8. Place rolls, cut side up, in a greased 8- or 9-inch round baking pan.

  9. Cover rolls with greased plastic wrap and let rise until doubled.

  10. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until light golden.

  11. While rolls bake, prepare the icing: combine cream cheese and butter in a large bowl until light and fluffy.

  12. Stir in confectioners' sugar and vanilla extract, then gradually add milk until the icing reaches desired consistency.

  13. Remove baked rolls from oven; cool slightly on a wire rack.

  14. Spread icing over the warm rolls.

  15. Sprinkle with remaining crushed chocolate sandwich cookies; serve warm.
