Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Toast flour on a baking sheet for 5 minutes, then cool completely.

  2. Beat brown sugar and butter with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.

  3. Beat in milk, vanilla, and salt. Add cooled flour, then beat on low speed until blended. Fold in chocolate chips.

  4. Refrigerate dough for 20-30 minutes until chilled.

  5. Scoop and shape dough into 1-inch balls; place on a lined baking sheet.

  6. Melt chocolate candy melts in a deep bowl, stirring until smooth.

  7. Dip a lollipop stick end into melted chocolate, then insert it 1/2 inch into each dough ball.

  8. Freeze dough balls until solid.

  9. Remelt candy melts.

  10. Dip each frozen ball into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.

  11. Optionally, sprinkle with nuts or desired toppings.

  12. Allow chocolate coating to dry by inserting sticks into a block or placing pops stick-up on a lined sheet.

  13. Store finished pops in the refrigerator.
