Cola 7-Bone Roast
An oven-baked or slow-cooker cola 7-bone roast features tender meat and vegetables, finished with a rich gravy.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Line a 13x9-inch baking pan with foil.

Season the 7-bone roast with salt and pepper, then sear it in a hot, oiled skillet.

Place the seared roast in the prepared pan, then arrange potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, and sliced onions around and over it.

In a bowl, combine cola, beef broth, onion soup mix, paprika, oregano, and garlic powder.

Pour the mixture over the meat and vegetables, then cover the pan tightly with foil.

Roast for 2 hours, then remove from the oven and let rest for at least 15 minutes before carving.

Serve the carved meat with the vegetables and pan gravy.
