Cola 7-Bone Roast

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. Line a 13x9-inch baking pan with foil.

  3. Season the 7-bone roast with salt and pepper, then sear it in a hot, oiled skillet.

  4. Place the seared roast in the prepared pan, then arrange potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, and sliced onions around and over it.

  5. In a bowl, combine cola, beef broth, onion soup mix, paprika, oregano, and garlic powder.

  6. Pour the mixture over the meat and vegetables, then cover the pan tightly with foil.

  7. Roast for 2 hours, then remove from the oven and let rest for at least 15 minutes before carving.

  8. Serve the carved meat with the vegetables and pan gravy.
