Cocoa Old-Fashioned
A unique cocoa old-fashioned features rye whiskey infused with cacao nibs, creating a rich and flavorful cocktail.

Instructions

To infuse whiskey, combine cacao nibs and rye whiskey in an infusion jar.

Shake the jar and allow it to infuse for three days, or until the flavor balance is achieved.

Strain out the nibs, then rebottle the infused whiskey.

For the cocktail, muddle one brandied cherry, half an orange slice, demerara syrup, and mole bitters in an old-fashioned glass.

Fill the glass with ice and add the cocoa-infused whiskey, then stir.

Garnish with the remaining cherry, orange slice, and optional orange zest, then serve.
