Coat Your Feta in Sesame Seeds and Drizzle it With Honey
Salty-sweet briny Greek feta, coated in sesame seeds and pan-fried, is drizzled with spiced honey for an appealing appetizer.

Pat feta dry. Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten egg and water, and one with sesame seeds.

Coat feta successively in flour, then egg mixture, then sesame seeds, pressing to adhere.

Heat 3 tablespoons olive oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Fry coated feta, turning, until browned and crispy on all sides (about 2 minutes per side), then transfer to a serving plate.

Discard oil from the skillet. In the same skillet over medium heat, combine honey, harissa powder, grated garlic, orange zest, orange juice, and thyme. Cook, stirring, until fragrant and bubbly (about 1 minute).

Pour the remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil around the feta on the plate. Drizzle the feta and oil with the honey mixture and serve with pita chips.
