Classic Wedge Salad Recipe

Instructions

  1. Dice tomatoes, salt them, and let sit for 5 minutes; strain if desired.

  2. Dice onion, toss with vinegar, and let sit for 5 minutes.

  3. Cook chopped bacon in a cold pan over high heat until crispy; drain on paper towels.

  4. In a food processor, blend sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth. Fold in blue cheese crumbles.

  5. Top iceberg wedges with the blue cheese dressing, then add the prepared tomatoes, pickled onions, bacon, and chives; serve immediately.
