Instructions

  1. Wash, core, and cut apples into 1/2-inch cubes.

  2. Sprinkle the apples with sugar, lemon juice, and salt.

  3. Add celery and nuts to the seasoned apples and toss to combine.

  4. Whip cream to stiff peaks in a medium bowl.

  5. Fold mayonnaise into the whipped cream.

  6. Gently fold the cream and mayonnaise mixture into the apple mixture.

  7. Serve the salad on mixed greens or large lettuce leaves.
