Instructions

Preheat the broiler to 500 F (High), positioning the rack about 6 inches from the heat.

Remove crusts from bread slices, then cut each slice into two triangles, rectangles, or squares.

Arrange the bread on a baking sheet.

Brush one side of the bread with melted butter, then sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
