Classic Reuben Sandwich

Instructions

Preheat a griddle or grill to medium heat.

Spread Thousand Island dressing on both rye bread slices.

Layer sauerkraut, corned beef, and Swiss cheese onto one bread slice, then top with the other slice (dressing side down).

Lightly butter the outside of the sandwich and fry on the hot griddle, flipping to brown both sides evenly.
