Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a pie plate with oil.

  2. Combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

  3. Stir in the melted, cooled butter until just mixed.

  4. Add 1/2 cup water and mix until blended, avoiding overmixing.

  5. Press the dough evenly onto the greased pie plate using lightly floured hands.

  6. Score the dough into 8 wedges.

  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

  8. Cut into 8 pieces and serve with desired toppings.
