Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine 2 lbs ground beef, 3/4 cup quick-cooking rolled oats, 1 cup chopped onion, 3/4 cup milk, 2 beaten eggs, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp kosher salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp onion powder; mix by hand until just combined.

  3. Press the mixture into a 9x5-inch loaf pan and smooth the top.

  4. Whisk together 1/3 cup ketchup, 2 tbsp brown sugar, and 1 tbsp yellow mustard in a small bowl to make the glaze.

  5. Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf.

  6. Bake uncovered for 1 hour.

  7. Remove from oven, drain grease, apply remaining glaze, then return to oven for 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 F.

  8. Let rest on a wire rack for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
