Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.

  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain well. Stir in pork and beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and minced onion; heat until bubbly.

  3. Transfer the beef and bean mixture to a 2 to 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.

  4. Cut each refrigerated biscuit in half. Arrange the biscuit halves cut-side down around the casserole's edge and sprinkle with shredded cheese.

  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown.
