Whisk eggs and milk in a bowl.

Sift together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder; add to egg mixture and beat until smooth.

Heat oil in a deep-fryer to 370 F. Fill a funnel, with the opening closed, with batter.

Hold the funnel over the hot oil, release the opening, and pour the batter in a circular, swirling pattern.

Fry for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown, then transfer to paper towels to drain.

Dust with confectioners' sugar before serving.
