Instructions

  1. Preheat a gas or charcoal grill to medium heat (350°F to 375°F) and soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.

  2. Combine lime juice, honey, oil, garlic, white pepper, and salt; set aside half of this mixture for basting.

  3. Place shrimp into a resealable plastic bag with the remaining marinade, ensure all shrimp are coated, then seal and refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes.

  4. Thread 3 to 4 marinated shrimp onto each soaked wooden skewer.

  5. Grill shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side, basting with the reserved mixture, until opaque.

  6. Remove from grill and serve immediately with lime wedges.
