Instructions

  1. Load the bread machine pan with 1 1/4 cups water, 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, 2 teaspoons sea salt, 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar, 4 1/4 cups bread flour, 2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk, and 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon.

  2. Form a small well in the dry ingredients and place 2 teaspoons active dry yeast inside.

  3. Set the bread machine to a sweet, rapid, or timed cycle; select 2 pounds if prompted for loaf size.

  4. Incorporate 1 cup raisins when the machine signals, typically 30-40 minutes into the cycle.

  5. Allow the bread machine to finish its full cycle, including baking.

  6. Once finished, remove the bread from the pan and cool completely on a rack.

  7. Serve with room temperature butter.
