Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250F to keep waffles warm.

  2. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

  3. Whisk melted butter, milk, and eggs.

  4. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry until just moistened.

  5. Cook waffles in a waffle iron to desired doneness; transfer to the preheated oven.

  6. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.

  7. Melt butter; brush cooked waffles on both sides, then dust completely with the cinnamon sugar.

  8. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave; drizzle over waffles and serve with whipped cream.
