Christmas Cracker Candy Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Line a 9x13-inch sheet pan with foil and parchment paper.

Arrange crackers in a single layer to cover the pan.

Combine butter, sugar, and salt in a pot over medium heat; cook until melted, dissolved, and boiling.

Boil for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and achieves a caramel consistency.

Pour hot toffee over crackers, spread evenly, then bake for 8-10 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Remove from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips over the toffee, let melt for 1-2 minutes, then spread into a thin layer.

Add sprinkles if desired. Let candy harden at room temperature for at least 2 hours, or refrigerate after 30 minutes for faster setting.
