Christmas Bark

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with nonstick paper.

  2. Melt 8 ounces of dark chocolate in a bowl over simmering water, ensuring the bowl does not touch the water.

  3. Stir in peppermint extract, then remove from heat. Add the remaining dark chocolate and stir until fully melted, tempering the chocolate.

  4. Melt milk and white chocolate using the same method, keeping all three chocolates warm.

  5. Pour the dark peppermint chocolate onto the prepared tray, smoothing it into waves with a spatula to create sufficient depth.

  6. Drizzle milk and white chocolate in swirls over the dark chocolate, then decorate with candies and sprinkles.

  7. Refrigerate the tray until the bark is set, then break into chunks for serving or storage.
