Chocolate Popcorn
A simple salty-sweet chocolate popcorn makes an ideal snack for large gatherings.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 250 F.

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat.

Whisk in sugar and cocoa powder; bring to a boil until sugar dissolves, then remove from heat and stir in baking soda.

Spread popcorn on a baking sheet, pour the chocolate mixture over it, and season with salt.

Toss to coat the popcorn, adding more salt if desired.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes, until crispy and dry, then cool on the sheet.
