Instructions

  1. Line an 8x8-inch pan with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Chop chocolate and melt it in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds.

  3. Beat softened cream cheese and evaporated milk until smooth in a mixer.

  4. Add melted chocolate to the cream cheese mixture and beat until well mixed.

  5. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract until the fudge is smooth.

  6. Fold in nuts, if desired.

  7. Pour fudge into the prepared pan, spread evenly, and let set at room temperature for 2-3 hours or in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
