Chocolate-Covered Cherry Mice Recipe
Cute chocolate-dipped cherries and almonds form adorable edible mice, perfect for children's projects or bake sale treats.

Instructions

Prepare a cookie sheet by lining it.

Rinse maraschino cherries and thoroughly dry them.

In a double boiler, melt chocolate, butter, and paraffin until smooth; remove from heat but keep warm.

Dip each dry cherry into the melted chocolate, then place on the lined sheet and immediately attach a chocolate chip as a head.

While the chocolate is still warm, insert two sliced almonds between the chip and cherry to create ears. Let cool.

Use a toothpick to apply red gel icing for eyes on the chocolate chip.

Refrigerate until the chocolate is firmly set.
