Chocolate Coconut Macaroons

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper or grease.

  2. Melt sweetened condensed milk, chocolate, and salt in a double boiler or saucepan over low heat, stirring until thick, then remove from heat.

  3. Stir coconut and vanilla into the chocolate mixture until well combined.

  4. Drop rounded tablespoons of the mixture onto prepared sheets, leaving 1/2 to 1 inch between each.

  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cookies are set.

  6. Transfer macaroons to a wire rack to cool completely.
