Instructions

  1. Start boiling your cooking medium, such as soup or broth.

  2. Combine masa harina and salt in a large bowl.

  3. Gradually add water, mixing until a soft, smooth dough forms.

  4. Lightly knead the dough for one to two minutes.

  5. Form one-inch balls; press an indentation into each center. Cover them until ready to cook.

  6. Add the chochoyotes to the simmering liquid and cook for about 15 minutes until fully done. Serve immediately.
