Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Spread sesame seeds evenly on the baking sheet and bake, shaking every 5 minutes, until fragrant and light golden brown.

  3. Allow the toasted seeds to cool slightly, ensuring they remain warm before processing.

  4. Process warm seeds in a food processor at medium speed until crushed, then reduce speed to low and slowly add oil, processing until the desired density is achieved.

  5. Store the finished sesame paste in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to one month.
