Heat oil to 350F in a heavy pan or wok for deep-frying.

Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan; set aside.

Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes.

Combine marinade ingredients and marinate chicken for 20 minutes.

Mix all sauce ingredients, bring to a boil in a small pot, then reduce heat and keep warm.

Deep-fry marinated chicken pieces in batches until golden brown; drain on paper towels.
