Chinese Almond Float Dessert

Instructions

  1. Combine gelatin and sugar in a medium bowl.

  2. Pour boiling water over the mixture and stir until dissolved.

  3. Stir in almond extract, evaporated milk, and cold water.

  4. Pour the gelatin mixture into a bowl or serving mold.

  5. Chill until firm.

  6. Cut the firm gelatin into 1-inch squares or diamonds and serve topped with canned fruit and its syrup.
