Chili Meatballs Recipe
A spicy meatball dish, featuring ground beef or pork seasoned with chili powder and cumin, pairs well with rice or potatoes.

Preheat the oven to 425 F and line a shallow baking pan with foil.

Combine all meatball ingredients, adding sufficient breadcrumbs to create a firm mixture.

Form 1 to 1 1/2-inch meatballs and arrange them in a single layer in the prepared pan.

Bake for 15 minutes, then turn the meatballs and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine the sauce ingredients in a large saucepan.

Add the baked meatballs to the sauce using a slotted spoon or tongs, then cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

Serve with hot cooked rice, optionally with cornbread and cooked beans.
