Chili Mac Recipe
A hearty chili mac, combining robust chili and macaroni with cheese, is prepared efficiently on the stovetop in 30 minutes.

Instructions

Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat, then add onion and cook for 5 minutes until translucent.

Add bell pepper, garlic, and ground beef; cook for 6-9 minutes, breaking up the meat, until browned.

Stir in chili powder, cumin, black pepper, cayenne pepper, crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beans, and chicken broth; bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add macaroni, bring to a boil, and cook for 8-10 minutes until tender.

Reserve some cheese, then stir the remaining cheese into the chili mac and season with salt.

Serve, topped with the reserved cheese and optional cilantro or pepper rings.
