Chile Lime Sauce

A vibrant chili lime sauce serves as an excellent dip for various proteins and fajitas, and can also be used as a flavorful marinade.

Instructions

  1. Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth.

  2. Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes, then reduce heat to low and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving as a dipping sauce.

  4. For marinade use, cool the sauce for 30 minutes.

  5. Marinate beef for 6-12 hours, chicken or pork for 4-6 hours, and fish, seafood, or vegetables for 30 minutes.

  6. Store remaining sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
