Instructions

  1. Combine chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

  2. Slice chicken breasts into thin strips and coat thoroughly with the seasoning mixture.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Sauté the seasoned chicken in the hot skillet for approximately 5 minutes until cooked through, then remove and set aside.

  5. Add sliced onions and pepper strips to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes until tender.

  6. Return the cooked chicken strips to the skillet, toss to combine, and heat through.

  7. Drizzle with lime juice and serve immediately with warm tortillas and desired garnishes.
