Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness, then season with salt and pepper.

Cook chicken in the heated skillet for 5 to 6 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.

Concurrently, melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat.

Stir in cream cheese, milk or half-and-half, and Parmesan cheese; heat until the sauce is hot and smooth.
