Chicken and Pasta With Lemon Pesto
An easy chicken and pasta main dish features a creamy sauce with store-bought lemon pesto, garlic, and Parmesan cheese.

Instructions

Bring salted water to a boil, then cook pasta until al dente; drain and keep warm.

In a large saucepan, heat butter, oil, and garlic over medium-high heat.

Add chicken cubes with salt and pepper; cook for 4-6 minutes until almost cooked through.

Stir in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low.

Incorporate most of the pesto, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, lemon zest, and Parmesan cheese.

Toss over medium heat until chicken is fully cooked and hot; stir in peas and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Place warm pasta in a serving bowl, then top with the chicken mixture.

Separately, combine the remaining 3 tablespoons of pesto with the remaining lemon juice.

Drizzle this mixture over the pasta and chicken, then serve immediately.
