Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler, positioning the rack 4 to 6 inches from the heat source.

  2. Line a baking sheet with nonstick foil and place the two bread pieces, cut side up, on it.

  3. Combine butter and mayonnaise in a bowl; then stir in cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, green onions, garlic, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
