Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment.

  2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla.

  5. Gradually add the sifted dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.

  6. Scoop 1-tablespoon portions of dough onto the prepared sheets, spacing them 1.5 inches apart.

  7. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.

  8. Cool cookies on the baking sheets for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely; repeat with any remaining dough.
