Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. In a medium bowl, blend butter, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese. Incorporate flour, salt, and chives; mix until well blended.

  3. Form the dough into 3/4-inch balls, place on an ungreased cookie sheet, and flatten to 1/4-inch thick. Prick each cracker with a fork and sprinkle with salt if desired.

  4. Bake for 12 to 17 minutes until the edges are lightly browned.

  5. Cool the crackers on a wire rack.

  6. Serve with your preferred dip, hummus, or soup.
