Catalan Tomato Bread

Instructions

  1. Slice bread into 3/4-inch pieces, discarding the crusty end.

  2. Lightly toast both sides of the bread slices.

  3. Rub peeled and trimmed garlic cloves over each toasted slice.

  4. Halve ripe tomatoes, then generously rub the cut side onto each bread slice.

  5. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt; serve.
