Cardamom Simple Syrup Recipe

Instructions

  1. Start boiling water and cardamom in a medium saucepan.

  2. Stir in sugar until completely dissolved.

  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and cool completely.

  5. Transfer to a container with a tight lid and infuse in the refrigerator for three days.

  6. Strain out the cardamom using a fine-mesh strainer, bottle the syrup, and refrigerate for up to three weeks.
