Caraway-Scented Red Cabbage

Instructions

  1. Discard outer cabbage leaves, then halve, core, and thinly slice the cabbage.

  2. In a large pan, heat oil and caraway seeds over medium-high heat until sizzling.

  3. Add sliced cabbage and salt; stir to combine.

  4. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15-30 minutes until tender.

  5. Sprinkle with vinegar, adjust salt and vinegar to taste, then serve hot or warm.
