Caramelized Roasted Carrots
Caramelized roasted carrots, prepared with melted butter and brown sugar, make an ideal side dish for roasted meats.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking tray with aluminum foil.

Slice larger carrots lengthwise to ensure uniform size, quartering extra-large ones.

Arrange carrots on the lined tray without overlapping.

Brush carrots with melted butter.

Sprinkle with brown sugar and black pepper.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until soft and lightly browned.
