Start boiling water for pasta and salt generously.

Heat 1/3 cup olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Cook 3 minced garlic cloves for 2 minutes until fragrant.

Stir in 2 (14.5-ounce) cans diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper; heat for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.

Cook 12 ounces angel hair pasta according to package directions, then drain thoroughly.
