Canned Pear Streusel Pie

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. Combine flour, sugars, cinnamon, melted butter, and pecans in a small bowl for the streusel, then set aside.

  3. Drain the sliced pears.

  4. In a medium bowl, mix the drained pears with flour and sugar until coated.

  5. Spread the pear mixture evenly into a pie crust.

  6. Evenly scatter the prepared streusel topping over the fruit.

  7. Place the pie on a baking sheet and bake for about 40 minutes, or until the juices are bubbling.

  8. Remove the pie from the oven and cool as desired before serving.
